For the sixth consecutive year, on the occasion of the anniversary of the Duke of Edinburgh’s visit to the Magro Brothers’ factory at Xewkija, Gozo, the Magro family has kept to their pledge of presenting HRH Prince Philip new products from their Savina range of delicacies.
 
This year the Savina hamper included the one of the Sor Serafina Specials: ‘Torta ta’ Sor Serafina’ which is a delicious cake made with candied fruit pieces, roasted almonds & walnuts, honey and citrus fruits. The hamper also included three jars of fruit delights which included the new ‘Bajtrija - Prickly Pear Jam’. This jam is made with Mediterranean prickly pears and added with a twist of lemon zest.
