The Venturino family, in Liguria, Italy, started producing extra virgin oil in 1945 in an old watermill, a classic building called “Gumbo” where the manual skill of extracting olive oil from the Taggiasca olives was the essential part of the miller’s job.
Nowadays they are one of the renowned companies in Italy producing a range of different pestos while still using the precious taggiasca olive’s nectar.
