Salsa di Pomodoro Ciliegino – Cherry Tomato Sauce



Cherry tomatoes are said to be a genetical mix between ribes tomatoes and classical garden tomatoes. It evolves its fruits in grapes and every grape can give 20-25 cherries. Its fruits are round, have a vivid red and a sweet taste. They’re really used to prepare salads, but they can be eaten alone too. Cherry tomatoes are various and really different. It’s a refreshing fruit and has optimal diuretic properties. It contains many mineral salts and is a great anti-oxidant.

The Ciliegino produces an intense Mediterranean sauce. The intense sweetness makes it perfect for everyone, form the most refined palates to those of children.
