Barbaresco 2017- Vignaioli Piemontesi is an Italian medium ruby red including full-bodied aroma. One type is ripe black fruit and a slight rose aroma and liquorice flavour. The second type is based towards cedar and chocolate, which is a relatively deep flavour, and the third type is mushroom and tar feeling. High in acid and high in tannins, dry alcohol content and full-bodied, but has a medium aftertaste. The overall taste is a bit bitter, which can be exceptional.
Pairings: Beef dishes, Pasta with heavy sauces, Lamb and Game.
