Red wine from Sicily.
The colour is ruby red with garnet hues. On the palate, the wine has an excellent structure with complex aromas of spices with hints of cloves, pepper, eucalyptus, tobacco, and vanilla with a finish followed by a lingering caramel aftertaste.
Pairings: tagliatelle with mushrooms, plin (Piedmontese ravioli) with meat sauce, lasagna, main course dishes with stew or roasted red meats, game or aged and blue cheeses.
