Marì was a bustling and energetic lady who hailed from Għasri; the tiniest village on the island of Gozo in the Maltese archipelago. This typical Mediterranean village is still renowned today for its handcrafted products.

Marì, and her husband Indri, specialised in home-made preserves and liqueurs and were regular suppliers to Magro Brothers. Besides bringing their home-made products to be sold, they also brought special treats for all the family, an event that was cherished and looked forward to by all!
